Reasons For Showcasing Your Photographs
Before Instagram it was Flickr, and this last one could still be more photography oriented than the other one. Despite their differences, they are both quite seductive to any photography newcomer. Today I want to share with you some brief thoughts on why you should showcase your work on at least one of these platforms or any similar one.
There are plenty of reasons to have such an account as a photographer, and even if you don’t get them right now, you’ll understand them with time. Trust me, this is a slow-paced introspective process. I’ve divided this list into two main sections, the first talks about how these platforms help in building a portfolio oriented mindset, and the other refers to things that span beyond that purpose.

These platforms have a gravity-like thing that pushes us into publishing better and better photos each time. I don’t know if is an algorithm based thing or simply because other people seem to publish better and better shots every time. This is a good practice even if you have several years of experience as a photographer.
